Methane Mitigation America 2024 is North America’s largest summit on measuring, monitoring and mitigating methane emissions from oil and gas. The event helps the industry navigate a landscape characterized by rapidly evolving methane reduction mandates in the United States.
Held in Houston from December 3-5, the conference was a valuable event for Global Power Technologies (GPT). In conjunction with Cordova Methane Controls, we hosted a booth to display our collaboration featuring our two products: Cordova’s Venthawk and Global Power Technologies’ Thermoelectric Generator P-5100. We demonstrated how the two technologies work together to capture and destroy methane from venting pneumatic controls with the added beneficial use of power generation. The conference provided a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry professionals and establish our presence in the methane mitigation market. We were able to share ideas and pave a new path for a greener future.
The first day of the conference was particularly effective for us as we were able to connect with a wide variety of professionals through numerous networking sessions. This gave us ample opportunity to showcase our solution to a wide audience. The second day allowed us to continue to showcase and dive deeper into how our systems work. The third day further solidified the connections we built through the first two and drove home the value of the Venhawk and Thermoelectric generators to capture and destroy methane.
The event was a resounding success for both GPT and Cordova. It allowed us to understand the market and bring our solution to a wider audience of users and peers. We learned a lot about this space and helped educate our peers on our technologies and this collaboration, in particular. We look forward to joining any future Methane Mitigation conferences to contribute to showcasing our advancements.
